Caring for patients is a family tradition in Texas for Dr. Kenneth Baker, DDS. Raquel, his wife of more than 40 years, and two of his five daughters work with him in our McAllen, TX dentist office. Raquel is our office administrator, their daughter Julie is a dental hygienist, and their daughter Lauren is our office manager.
Dr. Baker loves providing dental services for communities throughout the Texas Rio Grande Valley, including McAllen, Edinburg, Pharr, Mission, Weslaco, and Rio Grande City. In fact, he has been practicing dentistry in the same location, at 5000 N. 10th Street in McAllen, since 1990.
Dr. Baker loves learning. As part of his requirements to become a Fellow and Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, he has completed more than a thousand hours of continuing education. He is also a Fellow in the Academy of Dentistry International. In addition, he has been a clinical researcher for 30 years. As a clinical evaluator for Dental Advisor, he evaluates new dental products. Because of this, you’ll often find him using the latest dental innovations for our patients!

A Master Naturalist, Dr. Baker loves nature, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He enjoys volunteering for Heroes on the Water, an organization that helps veterans and first responders relax, rehabilitate, and reintegrate through outdoor activities like kayaking and fishing. A father to five daughters, he also enjoys spending time with his three grandsons and a granddaughter.
